Security Officer

The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team.

You will be responsible for:

• Control site security gatehouse, monitor radios, handle emergency calls, issue/receive PPE kits
• Aid in site/area evacuations during gas emissions
• Ensure safe traffic flow to/from site through gatehouse, including access/egress monitoring
• Conduct vehicle searches upon entry/exit, screen nickel/cobalt haulage trucks
• Perform fitness for work activities using handheld breathalysers, document findings
• Conduct security patrols, document issues; road patrols to identify hazards like speeding

About You
This role would suit an adaptable, attentive individual. 

You will also have:

• Proficiency in computer skills including integrated management systems and office applications
• Certificate II in Security
  Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
  WA Manual Driver’s licence
• Effective English language proficiency for reading, writing, and clear verbal communication
• Demonstrated conflict resolution and strong report writing abilities
• Essential personal attributes include strong customer service focus, ability to work independently, and foster teamwork
• Must possess attention to detail, work safely, and approach issues methodically
• Physical demands include travel in small aircraft, exposure to various environmental factors, and ability to wear respiratory protection
